Celebrate the journey of growth and faith with the Flourish & Fellowship Brunch, a joyful conclusion to this season of the Thorn & Bloom Collective - Book Club. This special event will feature fellowship, delicious food, and meaningful conversations as we reflect on the insights and connections cultivated throughout the series.

Meeting Eight
Chapter 7: Have You Seen Her?
Discussion Focus: Addressing the absence of Black women in church spaces and creating inclusive communities.
Activities:
Explore the gospel vision for restoring Black women to vital roles in the church.
Discussion on how to create and maintain inclusive church spaces.
Faith Circles share reflections and future commitments.
Assignments:
Read The Epilogue (A Love Letter to the Black Church) as reflective reading to close the study.

Chapter 6: Blooming in Babylon
Discussion Focus: Thriving in a secular world while staying true to faith.

Discuss ways to flourish as a faith-centered individual in a challenging world.

Meeting Six
Chapters 1-4: Panel Discussion; Chapter 5: Group Discussion
In this session, we will host a panel discussion featuring four volunteers from the group who will share their insights and reflections on the first set of chapters we’ve read together.
Guided by a moderator, the panelists will discuss key themes, takeaways, and personal applications. Following the panel, the rest of the group will have the opportunity to contribute their thoughts, fostering a rich and interactive discussion.
This session is designed to deepen our understanding of the text and hear diverse perspectives from our collective journey.
Schedule:
12 pm - 1 pm: The panel will discuss themes from Chapters 1-4
1 pm - 2 pm: The Group will discuss Chapter 5: I’m Not Your Superwoman
